Car for sale – Renault Megane 5-Door 77k miles

Due to another arrival to the family due very soon, I need to sell my car in order to get a bigger one!

It’s a 2001 (51) Renault Megane Dynamique.  I have detailed full specifications of the car, including tax and test information below, including a few pictures.

  • 2001 (51 plate) Renault Megane Dynamique in metallic blue
  • 1.6 16V five-speed engine (nice and quiet)

  • 4 new tyres fitted
  • No rust at all, anywhere on the bodywork
  • Lots of receipts
  • Drives VERY well indeed
  • Group 7 Insurance
  • HPI clear (certificate present)

I’ve looked after this car since I bought her back in 2004 from Reg Vardy.  She had 28,000 miles on the clock and now has 77,000 (see picture below).  It’s NEVER been smoked in and I didn’t let the kids eat food/sweets inside her either, so the interior is immaculate.

The bodywork is very clean and bright.  Many people say she doesn’t look nearly 10 years old, as she is cleaned (without fail!) every week.  She does however have a couple of small scratches and stone dents, that most cars of this age have.  There is however NO RUST AT ALL on any area of the bodywork.  An inspection is welcome!

It’s only used for local driving (to and from work) and occassionally on weekends.

I fitted 17″ MAK alloy wheels in 2006 which could do with a refurb, but they are still in good condition.  I also got the car windows tinted (all rear windows) and also fitted a Sebring Twin Exhaust.  The car is not loud in anyway and drives nice and quietly.

Please find below the car service record (recorded since new):

  • 13491 – 14th May 2003  (Sheaf Motors of Coal Aston)  initial service by previous owner
  • 27137 – 15th November 2004 (Reg Vardy – Sheffield)
  • 38,944 – 4th February 2006 (Reg Vardy Nissan – Sunderland)
  • 50,251 – 22nd December 2006 (Mick Abbot Auto Centre – Hebburn)
  • 58,204 – 27th October 2007 (Mick Abbot Auto Centre – Hebburn)
  • 68,359 – 19th June 2009 (Tyre and Auto Centre – Jarrow)
  • 76,825 – 23rd October 2010 (Felling M.O.T Centre – Gateshead)

The MOT for the car is due in March (22nd).  I DO NOT expect the car to fail.  There were no advisorys on the previous MOT.

The car is also taxed until the end of May 2011.

I will also fully wash/clean and polish the car before you collect it!  🙂

This car has been very good to me, it’s never let me down….  ever!   She will make a good car for a small family, or a couple looking for a decent, clean car that has been well looked after.

Price I’m looking for……..   £1,200 o.v.n.o.

Please contact me on 07592 933 930 if you would like more information, or to arrange an inspection of the car.

Thanks for looking!

Max Jacob… Born an angel

The 27th of December 2009 will be a date that my wife Melanie and I will never forget.  Ever.

Max Jacob, our fourth son was born an angel.

I can’t even to begin to describe the feelings of emptiness that both Melanie and I had that day.  The endless questions of ‘why our little boy??’ echoded around our heads constantly.  Everything was going so well and now, everything was just, well….. wrong.

He came into the world at precisely 11:00pm and when I looked him, through a cascade of tears streaming down my face, he was just perfect.  A beautiful angel.

Weighing 4lb 13oz, he was a surprisingly good weight for 34 weeks.  Beautiful really is an understatement.  He had perfect, tiny hands and feet.   We enjoyed having lots of cuddles with him, talked about his brothers and how we would all miss him so much.  I held his tiny hand, told him how much we all loved him and told him that we’d see him again some day.  He lay next to us all night until the morning, when we dressed him in a nice blue and white outfit.

Then, he was gone.

Somehow, I managed to find the strength to carry his tiny coffin during the funeral service.  I know he enjoyed his last carry from his daddy, because he gave me the strength and courage to do it.

Not one day goes by that we don’t think about Max.  Our three other sons, Joe Daniel, Ben Thomas and Sam James all miss their little baby brother so much.  They all know he’s an angel now and they all picked the brighest star in the sky, as they know Max is looking down on us, keeping us all safe.  He’s always with us, everyday.

Our time with him was brief and the memories we have are very precious.

The messages of support we recieved from family and friends after Max’s death were all amazing.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who sent their words of support, love and kindness during this time.  Your support helped both of us through.

Jay and Mel

To our beautiful baby box Max,

We miss you so much, but we know you have a job to do.

Spread your beautiful angel wings and watch over us all.

We love you so much and will never forget you.

Mammy and Daddy

An angel wrote in the Book of Life
Our baby’s date of birth
Then whispered as she closed the book
Too beautiful for Earth
